Sheltie Rescue of Central Indiana

Beau is just that. He's quite handsome and his bearing shows he knows it. Quick and attentive, Beau practically prances when he walks and runs like a sprinter. He was one of many barn dogs, so he's still adjusting to living in a house and is cautious meeting new people. He’s adapting quickly to new routines and forming new bonds. Housebreaking was easy.

 

Beau loves to be petted. He's recently neutered and had to have five teeth extracted. He's not a barker but is quick to react when something unusual is going on. So his watchdog instincts are good. There were no records for Beau, but estimates place him between three and six years old. He gets along well with our other six-year-old rescue Sheltie and the dog next door. Don't know how Beau is with children or cats, but he's never exhibited any kind of aggressive behavior during his stay with us. Beau is definitely a love-at-first-sight dog.
